Mission Statement

The mission of the Rockport Volunteer Fire Department is to save lives and protect property .We are committed to providing to our citizens the best possible service in a courteous, professional and cost-effective manner, to assure that every person who contacts the fire department receives satisfaction to the best of our ability. We will achieve this through continuous education, training, and community involvement, while maintaining the safest working environment possible.

The Rockport Volunteer Fire Department will be a safety conscious, professional organization while striving to be a leader in the fire service and the community. Through Professionalism, Dedication and Training we will work hard to set goals for ourselves and reach them as a team.

RVFD is always looking for hardworking and dedicated individuals to join our team as firefighters, auxillary or administrative (the support team) members.  No prior fire/rescue experience is necessary.  Free training is provided.  Click on the picture button above to obtain an application or join us for one of our weekly Thursday 6:30 p.m. meetings.
